Learn To Cook Waterless

Learn To Cook Waterless

Learning to cook with the waterless cooking method is a special way of cooking that allows the food to be steamed instead of boiled using multi-ply cookware.  You do not  want to boil food anymore.  The boiling of food will waste vitamins and minerals that will be poured down the drain. By steaming the food, all of the vitamins and minerals stay in the food instead of being wasted. Healthy cooking is easy with multi-ply waterless pots and pans.

Waterless Cookware

When you cook with the waterless cooking method, you are using special waterless pots and pans designed to hold in the steam.  The vegetables and meats will be steamed to perfection. You only need to add a little bit of water at the bottom of the pan, only about of 1/4 of a cup. The vegetables will be so delicious cooked in their own natural juices. If the vegetables are added to the pot frozen, then do not add any water at all. The moisture from the frozen vegetables is enough to steam.
No need to add butter, oil or grease with this waterless cooking method. This will cut down on calories. This is healthy cooking at its best. The waterless pots and pans have a special vapor seal in the lids to hold in the steam. Also, waterless cookware comes with a steam control valve that whistles when its time to turn down the heat and close the valve. Waterless cooking is easy and very healthy. Great for all kinds of squash, green beans, peas, broccoli, tomatoes, greens like kale, Brussel sprouts and more.

This allows the food to be cooked evenly on the stovetop without burning.  Bake a cake on the stove top in your waterless skillet. Easy. Cornbread is also fantastic with these waterless skillets.

The durable surgical stainless steel is easy to wipe clean or place in the dishwasher. The waterless roaster makes a tender pot roast on the stove top, just cover it with the dome lid on low heat. The roast will simmer in its on natural juices. The multi-ply base of the waterless roaster cooks the roast evenly so it turns out so tender. How To Keep a Pot Roast from Burning

Keep-a-Pot-Roast-from-burning

How to keep a pot roast from burning? Your roaster needs to have a multi-ply base so that the heat is evenly distributed. You need a thick, stainless steel base of a 5-ply, 7-ply or 9-ply bottom, either one will work. The waterless cookware sets come with a multi-ply roaster that is already in the set. Start with browning the roast on both sides and then simmer for two hours on low heat. The simmering will create the juices to cook a flavorful and tender roast. The special vapor seal in the waterless cookware lids will lock in the juices and flavors. The secret is not to open the lid or the steam will escape. Leave the lid untouched for the whole two hours on the stovetop burner. The waterless roasters are made for the stovetop burners and not the oven. Watch the waterless cooking video below to show you how to cook a great pot roast without burning.  See Waterless Roaster in the set…

Maxam KT17 Waterless Cookware Review

Maxam KT17 Waterless Cookware

The Maxam KT17 Waterless Cookware Review comes from previous experience cooking with this wonderful set.  I have been using this 9-Element Stainless Steel Waterless Cookware Set for  a long time now. The four saucepans, roaster and skillet have lasted throughout the years. Very durable stainless steel that can take a beating. I use this cookware all the time.

My favorite part is the egg poacher rack with the egg cups. The poached eggs will come out perfect in five minutes. The egg poacher sits nicely inside the main skillet. I put water at the bottom of the skillet and turn on to medium heat. Cover with the skillet lid and steam for 5 minutes.

I also like the roaster because I can slow cook meats on the stovetop burner, instead of using a hot oven. I do not heat up my kitchen, which is great. Slow cooked roast beef comes out very tender and juicy.  The saucepans are top notch which steam cook veggies such as yellow squash and zucchini. The whistle sounds when its ready to turn off the heat. Just close the valve on the top lid to silence the whistle.

Easy clean up, too. Dishwasher safe.
