Fried Green Tomatoes:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl, combine milk, buttermilk and pepper sauce. Slice green tomatoes a quarter inch thick and place in milk mixture to soak. In a cast iron skillet or heavy skillet, heat oil to 355° over medium-high heat.  Fry tomatoes in small batches (approximately 4 at a time) for 2 minutes on each side, turning once during cooking. Drain on paper towels. Place cooked tomatoes in oven while others are cooking. Serve immediately with WOW Sauce.  Get the recipe here….

How to keep a pot roast from burning? Your roaster needs to have a multi-ply base so that the heat is evenly distributed. You need a thick, stainless steel base of a 5-ply, 7-ply or 9-ply bottom, either one will work. The waterless cookware sets come with a multi-ply roaster that is already in the set. Start with browning the roast on both sides and then simmer for two hours on low heat. The simmering will create the juices to cook a flavorful and tender roast. The special vapor seal in the waterless cookware lids will lock in the juices and flavors. The secret is not to open the lid or the steam will escape. Leave the lid untouched for the whole two hours on the stovetop burner. The waterless roasters are made for the stovetop burners and not the oven. Using a mini-food processor, chop almonds into a coarse meal.
In a large mixing bowl or food processor, combine almonds, butter, flour, 1 tablespoon confectioner’s sugar and almond extract.
Blend into a thick pastry and pat into the bottom of a well greased 8×12 baking dish.  Mix thoroughly.
Pour key lime filling over partially baked crust and return to the oven.
Bake 30 minutes or until key lime filling sets.
Remove from oven and cool.
Sift remaining confectioner’s sugar on the top and cut into squares.
